Comments
During the summer of 2010 RAGTIME underwent the beginning of an extensive cosmetic refit at Boothbay Region Boatyard. Her bottom was wooded and primed with Awlgrip and her keel was painted with Red Lead. Her topsides were heavily sanded and primed with Awlgrip primer as well. Much of the varnish on the sides of her house was stripped and refinished. All other exterior varnish was sanded heavily and refinished. (8 coats of Epiphanes 2-part PP Varnish extra and 2 coats of Flagship Varnish on stripped areas. 2-3 coats on non-stripped areas).Half rounds on the superstructure were taken off and the area underneath was reglassed. New half rounds will be fitted shortly. Exterior hardware has been removed and sent out to be replated. The hull and bottom will be painted next spring (sooner if the yacht is purchased). Unless sold RAGTIME will remain out of the water in a covered shed this winter.
